Gidget, I have not ever heard anyone say that they were enslaved by a coyote, they just borrow money from family and friends and then they pay them back. When they have a job.

I wouldn't qualify either if I want to Mexico, because I am to poor I don't have 40 thousand dollars to enter the country and stay, I have to have money and a job before I could enter Mexico to become a citizen, and then after I become a citizen everything is still only for the born Mexicans I can't own land and I can't get into politics, their are so many things I could not do even if I was a citizen. Do you get it, do you understand Mexico doesn't even allow poor people into their country. And now they don't even want their own poor people, and we are supposed to take all of Mexico's poor on top of our own. We have a right to say who comes in and who cannot. Don't you understand that.

We need to have limits to how many poor immigrants we take. We cannot afford to supplement ALL of the poor of the world. If they really wanted to come badly enough, they would save, and beg and borrow from their relatives to pay the fees to apply legally. If they cannot qualify to come legally due to contagious or incurable diseases or a criminal record, then they are not considered desirable immigrants and for good reason.

You also forgot that the coyotes once they get the agreement have them work as slaves if they don't have the money. There are some countries who can not be approved to come legally because of the criminal activities they are trying to escape. Countries like Honduras which is one of the poorest and corrupt have no way of getting the money. etc.

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door."

UNLESS THEY ARE FROM MEXICO
(if you add this last line (from Mexico, or anywhere else for that matter) then you are simply a racist, no ifs and or buts).

Of course, Republicans are racists, they just don't admit it. They don't want to let other people into the US because they have this delusion that the US is nice and perfect just the way it is and that immigrants would screw everything up, even though history has proven that immigrants always make it better and better.

I'm more concerned, about the impact they make on America , then any thing else ... and they way illegals are entering America they will destroy this country .

If Mexico is that bad off , the people need to make damn sure their voice is heard, the people need to come togeather and change Mexico .... by force if needed .

If people do not quilify to become a U.S. citizen , it is because they will be a boarden on the country as soon as they enter , and we don't want any more problems.

Yeah, we do, and since poor people's taxes aren't enough to pay for the education and other services they use, we have to limit how many can come.

Get it?

Do you understand now?

I said poor people's taxes don't pay for the services. The services cost more than poor people can pay. The rest of us pay for it. Even if they pay all taxes they should, it simply isn't much. Our taxation system is wealth distribution so our own poor will have opportunities through education. We subsidize our own poor. We limit how many poor from other countries we want to pay for. Right now our own poor and the foreign poor are getting decreased quality in education. However, our own poor belong here.

They pay what back? That is a load of cr#@p! Do you know how many illegals I come into contact with that harrass me and grab their crotch and try to pile into my car when I drive by Home Depot?

They get free healthcare, legal aid, food stamps and WIC funds, free education for them and their anchor babies. I am American and actually pay my taxes (using my own social security number by the way) and I don't get all of those free benefits! Where's mine?

Yes RESPONSIBLE immigration requires that they do it the legal way, and IF THERE IS NO LEGAL WAY then DON'T COME HERE.

Immigration isn't based on what they want, it's based on what we want, and it's that way the world over don't kid yourself.

When you reach a certain level, and it's starting with the one here now that need to be deported, it doesn't matter if they are legal or not they have the same low skill uneducated effect on our country. That is IRRESPONSIBLE IMMIGRATION and is what you are advocating and trying to convince people to support.

I sure do get it. Not me.

So are a lot of people in Africa. They must stay there and make it the best they can. Those living across the border with the USA should not have any advantage simply because they live in close proximity to the USA. That would not be fair to those poor people in Africa (or anywhere else) That is why we have laws, American made laws, that are to be enforced and abided by. Enter legally or stay in your own country and make it the best you can. It is not the responsibility of the USA taxpayers to take care of all the worlds poor. They must hitch up their pants and do their own job of making their own lives the best they can THERE.

We do not OWE them citizenship. Read that over and over until it sinks in. You act as if citizenship is owed, and well, it isn't. If that were true, your stupid rant would hold a little water, but is not and does not. Now do YOU GET IT!?? Do YOU understand that? They can do it the legal way, or now way at all, and if they don't qualify, well I guess that is just to bad right? Not everyone gets to come here.
