CHI hair straighteners work wonders for my hair. They range from $125-150.(Roughly) Can find them on the internet with discounts, but CHI only supplies warranty if you buy them from a salon.

CHI definitely it works great on thick curly hair. also ION at sally's beauty supply is good. and cheap straightners will not work. anything over $50 is the best.

As long as it's ceramic its good, it does LESS damage to your hair and I say less becuase even if you have a very good one, straightening your hair is very bad for it...
