Is there any way i can darken my brown hair without using dye? and i just want it to be a darker shade of brown not any crazy colors. thanks for your help in advance.

Hey, use a coffee rinse, it's very effective and inexpensive!,
Get some fresh coffee, mix with cold water, make into a paste,or wet soloution, and apply to hair with a dying brush or soak hair in it, leave in hair for around one hour, and wash out after use, you may repeat to get to your desired level of darkness.

I'm not sure how to darken it without using dye.
However to keep your hair from lightening, avoid intense sunlight. =/
The only method I know of darkening is to dye it.
