I have the same thing right now. I live in Florida and the mosquitoes bite you and if you scratch it it turns into something that resembles a ring worm. I went to the er and they refuse to listen when i told them a mosquito bite me. So now i will be going to my own doctor. I advise don't scratch it because it will change and spread. See a really good doctor who will understand this is not a ring worm but an insect bite and treat it accordingly

Ringworm is transmitted through dirt or sand. It will not reach maturity in any other matter. Once it has reached larvae status it can enter your body through any area that is exposed to the infected matter and go wherever it wants to in your body. Yuck!
