what american city would you say has the best organic food markets/delis?

I would say California, maybe San Fran or L.A. Just because of the demand for organic by all the wealthy and yuppies/hippies and the availibility of fresh produce grown locally.

I think NYC does... there are just so many in this city. I personally like Trader Joes... we have some in MD... you ccan google it to see if there is one in your city.
