What the heck! Are there sicknesses that everyone should be concerned about? or does that kind of thing only come from everseas or something? I truely don't know.
I'm referring to ALL immigration from anywhere.

I certainly hope so! I think they do have to provide documentation of vaccinations though. But, I'm sure they can get forged documentation for that, too, if they haven't actually had their shots. Kind of scary ,isn't it! Just another reason to secure our borders from anyone entering illegally!

From the last question you deleted on comparisons between BUsh and Hitler:...
I agree with you, I just don't agree with the issues Bush brings up, and his tactics to gain support. Comparing Bush to Hitler is a terrible comparison, I mean Hitler was well known for his great oratory skills, Bush can't even say nuclear let alone a whole speech.

Yes. The medical exam for immigrants to the US (not non-immigrants) includes basic vaccinations if the applicants have never had them. The usual list is:

"-- mumps
-- measles
-- rubella
-- polio
-- tetanus and diphtheria toxoids
-- pertussis
-- influenzae type b (Hib)
-- hepatitis B
-- varicella
-- pneumococcal and
-- influenza."

Of course you have to be vaccinated entering legally. You have to to leave to it just safer that way. That doesn't mean that people from other countries are dirty though. Its just common sense whether your sick or not to be vaccinated, entering or leaving any country.

Yes, and screened for health. There are diseases we had eradicated that came back with illegal immigrants, and some from asia we never had before. They are pretty nasty, too.

That is one of the problems with having people come who we haven't screened.
