I am using half.com for the first time and was wondering because no edition is listed in the book I am looking for. But the ISBN num. is the same and the list price is the same as my current book store(of course half.com has a cheaper rate but can say edition 7&8 have the same ISBN number or are they different specified for that edition.

Sometimes a company has teamed up with another
book company and the editions are not identical but
are very similair the ISBN number should show you
which edition was printed first or the year it was listed.

as far as i know, i think there are different ISBN for every edition
at the same time different ISBN for every type of materials
hardbound vs softbound
and if its imported ISBN changes too
but im not sure about the rules here
so my answer is YES
