I have a prescription that reads "TAKE ONE TABLET TWICE
DAILY" Is that every 8 hours or every 12 hours.

It does means every 12 hours,not every 8 that would be 3 times a day.

it's every 12 hours. that's about the half life of your medicine, or the time where it still has a great effect. that's why you have to take your medicine every 12 hours so it can maintain its effectivity.

Ask the pharmacist, I would just take one when I wake up, and one when I go to bed.
