the question is what is our purpose? Our purpose is to complete God's will, without Him we wouldnt be here. Its not whats the point of God existing but of us existing.

According to Leibniz, God is the infinity of possible worlds. God's existence is necessary in order that there be possibility - that is God's purpose.

God created our world not because of logical nor metaphysical necessity but because of moral necessity. Our world, according to Leibniz, is the *best* among the infinity of possible worlds.

Btw, about the monads. The relation between material and spiritual is a function of the different degrees of spirituality. No monad is material, but 'material' things are composed of low-grade monads. The behavior of matter and mind (composed of high-grade monads) is not causally related. The behavioral relation between them is only apparent - the two behaviors run independently but in parallel, thus giving the impression of a causal relationship.

God just is...and always has been... did you ever concider that God had no choise in whether or not he existed?... He just has alway been... it could well be that even he dose not know his origin... But, as he created this physical unverse and all that makes up what we are... we have to play by His rules... or take the counsequeses... I choose to do my best to do as He would have me do.... In God's time we will learn what he wants us to know of Him

What is water's purpose? What is a tree's purpose? What is food's purpose? Without these there would be no humans, no animals, no life. But without God none of these would be. None of us would live. God brings the sun up every morning for light, and brings up the moon for darkness every night. He pours down rain to quench our thirst and laid down furtile soil so we could grow things to eat. Is there a better purpose than that?
Thats my opinion

Interesting question... I would like to ask, does God need a reason to exist? If so, then its likely he isn't God.
