Back in the 1960s and early 70s we marched against the Vietnam war, and we eventuallt stopped it, or so we thought. The US withdrawal from Vietnam probably had as much to do with the bottom falling out of the rubber market with the adoption of synthetic rubber in the tire industry; but at least it felt like we were doing something.
Go ahead, organise something, I'll join in if I can.

We are doing it.
My country sends aid all over the world for every catastrophe.
My church works with other faiths to feed the needy in our community. We provide supplies to an Islamic charity that furnishes the transportation to Indonesia and Pakistan. Our President said "Faith works miracles if our hands and feet are involved."

And do what? As much as you want to help even you and me will have different opinions on what needs fixing. Throw in another 100,000 and you'll have that many polar opposite views. We're screwed.

Please define "better world". is that another form of "social justice"? They both seem to be plain socialism. It would seem to me much less goverment, at all levels, would be a "better world". Anyone agree?
