The story says that Noah put one male and one female of every animal on a small boat. However, with asexually reproductive animals, there isn't a "male or female", so how many were put on that boat?

None....because that story is an unproven myth.

The language used in the Genesis passages does not necessitate that ALL animals were put on the ark.

And by the way, it was not a small boat. It was a very very big boat...

Note: I am a Christian, and I personally believe in a regional flood, not a global flood (the language in Genesis is consistent with a regional flood).

Cordially,

the bible was written by mostly uneducated people who didn't have the benefit of modern scientific knowledge, so of course they didn't include asexually reproductive animals. i think the point is that there were enough of each species so that it could be continued after the flood.

As far as I know, only worms are asexual... but there could be more, I guess.
They'd survive regardless.
