A scrapbook is always good for sentiment. Put pictures of the two of you in, as well as saved ticket stubs or reminders of places you've been together, and you can personalize it with little captions and your favourite quotes.

I love the scarf idea, but if you crochet, make him a blanket that the two of you can cuddle under during a good movie. When my husband and I got married we didn't have alot of money, so the big outing would be to Target to buy a new DVD and box of micro popcorn. A cuddly blanket would have been great!
Somethign else a little more sentimental, is to take a photo of some beautiful scenery, even the sky and write your special thought for or to him right on the photo. It's a one of a kind something he can keep in his wallet.

I am all for telling my guy how I feel about him. He's not particularly mushy or whatever, but he really appreciated this...
I took an empty jar (lol if it wasn't empty...) and filled it with little slips of paper that I had cut in the shapes of hearts that had reasons why I love him on them. There were 365 - one for each day of the year. He really loves it - and it still sits beside our bed 3 years later. It WAS a LITTLE difficult to come up with 365 things... but some of them were silly (like, I love your knees).
No matter what, good luck!!!

I built my husband a table to set his favorite fern plant on outside. I had no idea what I was doing, but accomplished it...lol. It's his pride and joy. Even if something you make turns out goofy, it's worth it to the person. I also once made my husband a huge deer bag out of canvas with his name embroidered on it, and I sewed a camo seat cover for his hunting Honda. Think of something your guy loves and try to do something personal that nobody else has..something thoughtful just for him.

I did a needlepoint that has our names and the wedding date on it. But I love the ideas of a coupon book or a scrap book. Maybe make a basket for the wedding night: Some KY, a teddy for you, some wine and cheese, etc.

Knit him a pot-handle cover....tell him it's a sweater for his little buddy.
maybe a pinch-pot clay ashtray (if he smokes) or a change dish.
Take pictures of yourself in lingerie (digital camera, tripod and self timer, print at home) make him a photo calendar.
write a sexy, graphic story where he is the star character.
make him a tie/belt rack he can use
make him a bean bag chair with boobs (for when you're not home)
make him a list of his top 10 greatest qualities, frame it, and hang it over his toilet so he sees it every day.

A nice hand made coupon book of romance. They are fun, exciting and can be redeemed at your request.
Be creative! A nice dinner, a movie, a massage, night out on the town, sexy stuff! Have fun!

I made my husband a few scarves (they never seem to last long). We live in an area where it gets cold and he goes through them quite a bit. Do a color that is masculine or professional, so that he will want to wear it. It can be knitted or crocheted.

I'm making him a double-wedding ring quilt...I've never made a quilt before and I'm terrified but he's just the kind of guy who will appreciate all the work it takes. (Plus....he likes to sleep, haha) BUT...I read the other answers and now I'm going to make him a jar with 365 reasons why I love him too, LOL. Thanks, other answerer!
