I prefer not to feed canned food, but the puppy should eat At the very Least 3 times daily.
I feed dry puppy food mixed with whole milk cottage cheese or if you have ricotta that will work too. If the puppy isn't chewing well, then just stick it in the blender or let it soak in a little warm water so it softens a bit.
Good Luck!

Technically none...
His digestive system is really not ready for it yet, but if you do I suggest only Eukanuba puppy formula/ lamb and rice. Either get the large breed or small breed puppy formula depending on what your dog is. The can will give you the right amount, and amount of feeding times, but usually 3 or more times a day. You need to check the puppy out with the vet. And get him some supplemental milk. DEFINITELY NO DRY FOOD! His stomach is definitely not ready for that, and his little teach are like chalk and are not strong enough to chew that yet.

honey at 5 weeks your pup should still be feeding from mom. Canned food is too harsh for his tummy at this point. try some puppy chow and add a little warm water to each meal. He'll definitely poop better-the can may give him the runs! Good luck with your puppy!! Do NOT give him Milk or milk products Dogs do not digest like humans-milk can cause tummy problems--ignore Molissa's advice!

My goodness she shouldn't even be away from her mommy till 8 weeks! They are weened at 4 weeks normally but develop social skills from 6-8 weeks. At any rate you should feed her at least 3-4 times a day.

i don't know your dog but i do know that canned wet dog food just isn't good for your puppy. and i suggest that you do not start your puppy eating that cause sooner or later you puppy will be so used to eating wet food that when you try the dry food your puppy won't touch it
