After the flood, all the vegitation would have drowned, so what did the animals have to eat? Also, how did we get the populations we have today considering the lack of variety in the gene pool if there was only 1 male and 1 female of every animal?

Note: The Bible and "God" isn't science. Therefore, answers with either of them are not valid answers to this question.

Also, if you look at the science of a flood, there is something called "reach" when learning about waves. A wave's reach helps show how strong a wave can be. With the flood as described by the bible, Waves would have been as tall as buildings. Something a simple wooden boat built by a 600 year old man couldn't have withstood!

There is no scientific evidence that Noah's Ark ever existed. However, there was a show on HBO or Showtime called Penn and Teller's Bullsh*t that researched the issue. They did discover scientific and historic evidence that there WAS a great flood in the Middle East many thousands of years ago, and a myth had it that one of the kings of that time period built a giant raft and had his live stock on the raft and they all floated to safety.

Not totally correct, if you read the King James Version of the bible, Genesis 7:2, then all of a sudden you jump up to 7 each of the clean animals! The arc is now bigger than the Titanic and the Love Boat put together!

I do not know about scientific evidence, but most cultures have a flood myth.
The Miao people of southern China have a similar flood myth to the Judaic/Christian/Muslim version, the hero of theirs is called Nuah.
I think the Epic of Gilgamesh is probably the oldest.
I should have done a bit of research on this, it may have been the Bouyei or Yi,but, it is bloody damned late and I should be working !

Many people said they had found it, but carbon dating said otherwise. It still cannot be found. The same can be said for the place that Jesus died at, the cup he drank from (the Holy Grail) and the cross that he died on. On the other hand, four missing books from the Bible were found, and Christians still will not acknowledge those. How stupid can people be? It is real evidence that the Bible is not all that it is cracked up to be.

seeds would have floated on the water during the flood.( there is scientific evidence backing this ) although not all plant species survived. i mean look at all the vegatation that was around during the dinosaurs. also if humans reproduced at the same rate they do today there would be over 11,000,000,000 of us, so that answers all those questions.( there is about half that many today.) besides the gene pool would have been much less similar within the same species then they are today, this allows for quite a bit of inbreeding.

There is a good free video online on www.drdino.com that answers this question. It is put together by a real scientist. Just click on downloads, and then The Age of the Earth. You probably won't look though, because your question is biased and you are only making fun.
