I agree that we need to be questioning Christians where the Bible is concerned. Consider the arguments regarding the Trinity. No one stops to think that writers may simply have had different ways of describing God. So instead that idea of the Trinity was formulated and the Apostle's Creed written to make sure we all knew to believe the exact same thing.
Sometimes my religion really frightens me.

The Holy Bible was written by the choosen Discipals of Jesus Christ. You are accurate when you say it has been passed down. Scholars have proven that the scriptures are true in many different ways and scientific facts. It was not just an ordinary man who wrote the chapters of the Holy Bible, but choosen ones with the true knowledge of God. I could go on and on. When writing the word god, you should alwasy capitalize the word when referring to our Heavenly Father--God.

The bible is real because it shows since god created adam and eve until whats happening today and what will happen into the future. Many scriptures written by the discilples about what was gonna happen in these days are coming true. But the only reason u can understand this is by getting closer to Jesus and to his word and Jesus himself will reveal it to u because its written in the bible that in the end times Jesus will use the youth to reveal his messages to his people about his coming. So i know for a fact that the bible is real.

You are correct in questioning this. Be skeptical; read the bible and extract the best messages that you can use and incorporate in your life; flush the rest away as noise. Any message will inevitably suffer from corruption. To think that something verbalized by dozens of authors in various languages, then transcribed centuries later, will remain faithfully accurate is being moronic. This is true even if you replace "bible" with "koran" or any other reigious text.

There is no evidence that any of the major doctrines of Christianity have been changed as manuscripts (of the Bible) have been transmitted through the centuries.
The New Testament gospels date back to the 40s-90s AD (not 397 AD). Pericopes (portions) of the New Testament gospels date back to the 30s AD (back to the life of Christ).
Cordially,
John

The above statement is true at least in part. God's word is true no matter where it's found, The Bible states that if the truth be hid it is hid from them that are lost. There is only one true path and only a few that find it. God as to show the way to the path. Otherwise everyone would be on the same path, with their same old sins. The true path is hid for good reason.

Jesus had said that Heaven and Earth shall pass away but his words shall never pass away. 66 books compiled over 2500 years and it fits like a glove with it self. It is true that It does not fit well with all religions. You can reject many simply by reading. That's why your religion should come from the Bible, not by man.

There are 2 issues i've got consistently questioned approximately. mutually as strolling, Jesus became hungry and observed a fig tree. It had no fruit, so he in actuality blasted the tree. Now, at that element of year, there could have been no fruit on it, and that i've got heard this passage utilized in coaching. yet, unfavorable tree! And, there is the money-lender incident. The Temple used a particular form of money, so the universal Roman money had to be exchanged. Then, human beings would desire to purchase the concepts to be sacrificed to make amends for sins. This became achieved on the front to the Temple. Jesus took exception to this, and in actuality destroyed the placement. Now, from a non secular experience, Jesus became completely proper, yet from a human experience, those adult adult males have been doing ordinary artwork, so what became the concern? of direction, all of us be responsive to the concern, yet i will wager the folk on the time weren't extraordinarily happy with him! He additionally spent time with undesirable human beings. The Jews has a stratified society, with regulations on who you may desire to affiliate with, and consume with, etc. Jesus flouted those regulations thoroughly, and brazenly. in certainty, he became this form of insurrection, he became performed for his movements. So, perceptions, in line with risk. we are saying he became with out sin, and that's the image we've. although, for the duration of his day, we became so "undesirable" he became captured, tortured, and killed for his movements.

If I accept that there are different Greek manuscript versions of the Bible, and there are translation problems, would you accept the statement "we believe the Bible to be the word of God, so far as it is translated correctly."?
