I would place one of those motion sensor triggered webcams as mentioned by a few folks and let it record the culprits .. preferably one with infrared but if you really got the cash i'm sure you can get one with night vision .. from a good survaillance (sp?) store and see who these kids are and where they live .. i get this feeling that these kids don't live far .. since they seem to know when you aren't looking out your window ... probably won't have to go far to find them ..

Whatever you do however .. keep in mind that your goal is only to catch the identities of these kids .. you are not out there to take the law into your own hands .. don't suddenly go running out the door swinging your arms and yelling as this is just going to give them more reason to keep doing it .. just keep the record of what your camera has taken and give it to the local authorities .. they'll handle it from there and chances are these kids aren't messing up only your house but other's homes as well .. i have yet to hear about vandals egging only one house ..

Best of luck and remember to keep your cool!

I don't know about getting egg and eggshells off your house but I do know what I would do about those little vandals. Get a webcam that has program with a motion sensor in it. Set it up at night near a window (remove the screen and clean window really well for better visibility). You will also need a motion sensor light to enable your camera to pick up the images. You can set the sensitivity so it doesn't go off over any little thing and you can choose the alarm type so it will alert you or wake you up when it happens and maybe you can catch the little hooligans. Our neighbor has inside and outdoor surveillance cameras recording 24/7 but that is a bit expensive.

Call the police and ask them if egging is considered vandalism. Each state is different. Try a video camera in a hidden place. The only way I know how to get it out is with a pressure spray from the hose and some scrbbing.

It is TOO vandalism. Eggs can ruin paint jobs on houses AND cars. Call the police and have them patrol the area once in a while. Also get some motion lights for the part of your house they are targeting. When you see the lights come on go outside and confront them. Most of these little punks are basically cowards.

you can set hidden cameras.or if you know around what hours they have been coming hide out, maybe even hide outside from a distance with a camera and a phone.inside aparked car on side of street is good thought.you can call police turn in license plate number or take photo of car or people in it. more likely you'll be able to see one person,i'm sure there is more then one. and yes it is vandlism.as far as getting your house clean just take it in the laws hands.make the people pay for damages get a quote on house damage.or if you the to nice type find out who done it ,talk to parents and make those kids clean it up.though it is better to leave it to the law.file a report.good luck hope you catch them. keep us updated.

You should be able to contact the police, and they will do drive around your neighborhood more often. Maybe that will deter them. You could also set up a camera, if you don't have one maybe a friend would lend you one.

When we were younger, my dad caught someone egging our house. He made them clean it with toothbrushes and pails of concrete cleaner. And he stood there and watched them do it. We never had any problems after that. Good luck to you!

It sounds like you have made someone upset.... Use a power washer to get the eggshells off your house. I don't think that it's vandalism, it would be more public nuisance or harassment. Good luck.

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade! My suggestion is don't take the law in your own hands, find some kids who will throw pancakes and bacon at your house and cook yourself up a tasty grand slam breakfast!!

Consider putting up cameras, or see if they do it on certain days. For cleaning the eggs, try a pressure cleaner.

First....Clean it off right away. The longer it sits, the more damage it does.
Second....Get an inexpensive infra-red camera from harborfreight.com, hook it to your VCR.
Third....Yes, any property damage caused intentionally is a crime, anywhere in USA.
