How would I go about meeting/talking to an asian girl?

I'm a white guy and I have always been attracted to asian girls but never know how to approach them.(Specifically Japanese) Not to sound racial or anything, but I don't know any other way to put it. I would first of all like to know how to meet one and secondly how to talk to one. I'm not only attracted to them physically. I also really like their culture.

Hi, I'm an Asian girl and whenever I go to the Japanese shopping center for groceries or whatever, I always see fellow Asians (including Asian girls).

So, a good place to meet/talk to a Japanese girl is any Japanese shopping center such as a Japantown, or a Japanese grocery store. A popular Japanese store is "Mitsuwa Marketplace." You can look it up online and see if there's one near you.

Okay, once you spot an Asian girl you would like to meet, try making eye contact. If she returns the eye contact and seems to have open body language (no negative body language such as crossed arms, slouching, turning away, or rolling her eyes), try smiling. If she smiles back, that's a pretty good sign she's open-minded about meeting/talking with you.

Next, try striking up a casual conversation. Don't bother using any perverted or cheesy pick-up lines! Just be friendly, not forward at first. If she seems like she's listening and wants to talk, keep the conversation flowing.

Smile often, but make sure they're real smiles. If she seems distant or distracted, it may be a sign that she's not interested. However, she could just be shy. Talk about something that really interests you, you'll seem enthusiastic and enthralled. Just don't be too over-eager, or you might come off as "weird."

I don't know whether I'm speaking for all Asian girls, but I am very polite and treat (non-psychotic) strangers with manners and tolerance. Talking to an Asian girl shouldn't be intimidating in terms of worrying about getting cussed out or something like that. In addition, I really appreciate men who are nice, polite, and chivalrous.

And I hate to say this, but physical looks do play a big part on whether you give a good or bad first impression. Don't look like a slob.

Another way to meet and interact with Asian women is to visit an Asian country or become a foreign exchange student there.

Also, if you have any Asian friends, ask them to introduce you to some people.

I go to the Asian grocery stores and talk it up with the girls at the check out. When I was having problems with another asian girlfriend, I asked for advise and help. They love to help.

Asian girls are little match makers and when they get to believe that you are sincere, they may proposition you (could be subtle, so pay attention), or they will set you up with sisters, friends or cousins.

Asian men are rarely any help, they already have a complex about how many of their women are dating white men and are not interested in encouraging this trend.

I have trouble finding a white date(I am white), but I have no shortage of Asians. They talk and gossip alot. If you have a good reputation, (kind, compassionate, sincere, not chauvanistic), they will never allow you to get away.

Dating activities for me include casino, rock concerts the beach and sporting events, things that are big, exciting and are examples of Western culture. Great experiences that they will speak to their friends about endlessly.

So your interested in their culture. A good way to learn more is to learn their language (Japanese as you mentioned). what better person to teach you than a Japanese girl. Plus, this way you don't come accross too forward, coz hey you just want to learn their culture and language. It's also a good foundation if things don't go good. coz all you wanted was to learn japanese, not a date/relationship etc (whatever yo really want).
P.S - u really don't have to learn the language, lol (unless you'd really like to)

Maybe you should try looking up asian clubs in your area. Also colleges are not a bad source. As far a approaching them goes well all I can say is practice makes perfect.

Hey. I tell U exactly what you should to get an Asian girl. (Specifically Japanese) First of all, you guys should understand that these girls came to here US for 'leaning English/American culture' NOT leaning own Jap culture... Fortunatelly, I get tons of offer to go out from those guys and am tired of it! Because These guys (Who're attractted to Asians) always talk about like 'Japanses Manga', 'Sushi', 'Black-Belt', 'Do u like my chinese letter tattoos?' blah, blah, blah whatever. I (We) already know that because these are OUR culture!! and have NO interests!! I (We) wanna experience 'very AMERICAN' culture in here, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! Instead of takin about 'JAP' 'Jap' 'Jap'...,take her just regular American restaurants or bars or clubs or beach or local events. They gonna LOVE it. *Once my American guy friend took me to Malibu beach and checkin hot surfers 'together' and we were kidding like 'Look at his abs!' 'WOW he got tigh butt' just did some stupid thing! lol but We really had good time and now he is my boyfriend! You don't need to spend too much $$$ for fancy Japanese sushi restaurant!! I

I totally understand and appreciate that makin every effort to make us comfortable, but that'll never work.. Huge misunderstand.

Think, if you went to Japan, got some Jap friends...How do you feel if they took u 'KFC' or American hangouts everytime because You are American..Its damn isn't it? I'm sure you wanna do/see more 'very Japanese' experience like wearing Kimono, see cherry-blossom, geishas ,whatever, thats same thing.

So say Hi to them, and talks more about YOUR culture and show YOUR culture. We are here to 'lean' YOUR culture...
