I have had 3 abortions, and wonder if these babies are beings with lives on the other side now?

ok I expected a lot of judgemental attitude..but thankyou for being so kind. in explanation if you are distressed by the thought of so many abortions, the first was a mistake at a very young age, the second as a result of rape, and the third, I was one of the 1% to get pregnant while on the pill. I regret and despair of this every day, I don't take it lightly.

Yes, I do believe that. I believe your babies are in the arms of God. I have had a glimpse of the love in my Father's house (in heaven), and it is more wonderful than I can describe. He is the very heart of compassion, and he doesn't want you to suffer anymore. Jesus' heart is aching with you. He wants to take it all away and fill your heart with joy. I know a wonderful song that gives me so much hope. It is as if God is speaking to me. I will post the words and I hope they give you hope also. God bless.

Throne of Grace by Sheila Walsh

Come to the Throne of Grace
Don't be afraid
I won't turn you away
Just Let Me into your heart
And My love will wash your tears away

I know you
I know you completely
And on your darkest journey
I have been with you
All the weight of guilt and shame
You carry on your shoulders
It's time to hand it over
And let it go

Come to the Throne of Grace
Don't be afraid
I won't turn you away
Just Let Me into your heart
And My love will wash your tears away

I can hear the silent tears
Above the noise and laughter
The things you're running after
Will let you down
So here I stand before you now
With arms of love to hold you
Let my grace enfold you
And come to me...
Run to me!

Come to the Throne of Grace
Don't be afraid
I won't turn you away
Just Let Me into your heart
And My love will wash your tears away...

Come...
Just come...
Come...

I personally believe Children "lost" by abortion or miscarriage are in Heaven. I also have lost 2 children before being blessed with the three children I do have. Jesus said, "let the little ones come unto me." I take that as my children I never got to hold on this earth are in the arms of Christ and one day I will be able to see them again!

I believe babies lost thru miscarriage or at the hands of abortion are wrapped in the loving arms of God. Im not trying to judge you, but would not birth control of some kind be more responsible in preventing pregnancy, instead of continued abortions? You could really harm your chances of ever having children if you wanted one later in life.

No they don't ! They are beings that go back to God! A spirit can enter the fetus at any stage of the pregnancy! The spirit of the fetus feels compassion towards it's mother and understands why you did what you had to do.It is not judgemental! So don't feel badly about it regardless what people say! You are not judged in heaven! In the end it is where we all go back!

I recommend that you go through the free online post-abortion study available at http://www.healinghearts.org You will be paired with an email counselor. Just about all of the counselors have aborted babies themselves, so they know exactly what you are going through. You will find answers to your spiritual questions as you work through the study.

I am in the same boat as you. I am male but have been through the same losses too.

They say that blokes dont feel it as mush as women, maybe not physically, but certainly emotionally.

I do believe and know they are safe on the other side, because sometimes I can feel them come close to me, through other kids and things that happen around me.

It took me along time to come round after what happened, and to able to deal with myself properly, but all I know is that with the thought of love ( which is the most powerful thing around, because God IS Love) that it reaches where it is sent. It takes exactly 3 three seconds for a thought / prayer of love to reach where its sent to.

Sometimes we can even be tuned in enough to receive our replies, mostly we are too busy in the physical world, but something different happens to help us be aware of something more around us.

Keep the love flowing, for it is eternally growing.

Peace

No I don't think that babies who died - however that happened - actually grow up in the spirit world. Else that would mean that adults would grow old, and old people would...?

Depending on your belief system, they are likely to be around minding their own business, living their own spirit existence until:
1 it's their time to be reincarnated or
2 it's their time to go to heaven or
...

I guess that the important thing is that they are not necessarily unhappy or anything like that; they have their own things to do.

So please don't fret and carry on with your life. It is obvious that you think of them every now and then, and I think it's not a bad thing for either you or them. It shows you care and they know it.

No idea about adults, let alone unborn babies. If you believe in the afterlife, then I guess it would be reasonable to think that the soul is created at the moment of conception. After all, that is when the life is created.

yes. they probably are alive now on the other side of the world and they might be even wondering why they were aborted..the first baby could have understood but the 2nd and the last baby would not get it..
