At camp 30 years ago this tubby kid named Charlie Mingus called me 'Bobby ButtStinko' one day. I didn't crap my pants or even fart or anything. It was just a random insult. But the other kids thought it was Hillarious so it stuck.
6 years later when I walked across the stage to get my diploma there were shouts of 'Go Bobby ButtStinko' from the audience.
A little part of me will always be 'Bobby ButtStinko'...how do I get over it????

Embrace it, love it, and get filthy stinking rich off of it. I see a whole line of shirts, hats, action figures, cartoons, movies based upon the Bobby ButtStinko character. This is not a joke. You could really harness all of the pain that this has caused you and redirect it into something positive. Wouldn't it be great to see thousands of teenagers wearing a "Go Bobby ButtStinko T-shirt". Bobby Buttstinko could be the new Napolean Dynamite. Dude if you get filthy rich off this please remember the guy on Yahoo answers that helped you turn it all around.

I wish I had a good answer for you but I too still suffer from things from way back then. The only thing I can say is that all kids get it from somewhere, and if we knew that then it might have helped. These things get embedded in our identity. Just know that it happened to everybody in one way or another, we just can only know our own experience. Kids are very cruel, and allot of grownups too. Did it teach you anything, like compassion? If so use it to make yourself a better person and help others on here who have been hurt as well. We may never get completely over it, but we can try to make the best of it.
