Yes, that is a very possible thing. That is what has kept many people apart. That same thing kept me and my man apart for a very very long time but we worked out. It kept my friend from a guy too and then they got together even though they didn't work they have a very strong friendship. So i would say go after it, don't let what could be the best thing in your life slip away.

Yes, it's understandable. Take your situation for example: you can love someone so much that you're afraid dating them could jeopardize your friendship. I think you should continue to be friends with that person and maybe date other people. If you find that it's just not clicking with other people and your mind continues to turn back to her, then you should consider dating each other. After all, they say that the longest lasting relationships happen with your best friend.

please step away from Saddam......Evil dictators do not make good lovers unless you are pain and torture yourself!!!!!
Honey, i kno its hard to become suddenly unattached but one must be careful when dealing with unknown forces........
sorry humor makes the heart light!!!!
On a serious note, thats awesome that you have such a friendship!!!! Not many people in the world are lucky enough to have one like you!!!! As long you do not intend to do anything relationship destructing(like saddam would) and you can trust your friend than go for it, she might be the person of your dreams!!! however you cant fool yourself and you know if you like your friend or if it really is just a friendship!!!!!
Good luck!!!!
as a last word of advice......avoid lovers who are not strong in the ways of the force as i sense much of it in you, along with compassion and kindness!!!

ohhh yeah i know the feeling...life is all about taking risks...is the juice worth the squeeze? in other words...is the reward worth the risk? it sounds like you two have a great connection. if things work out it sounds like it could be something amazing which is a great reward! if things don't work out it doesn't mean you can't be friends afterwards. if you don't at least try i think you both will regret it

there is no fear in real love. growing closer is what life partners do, married or not. If the connection is strong allow things to happen and if the opportunity arises, don't be afraid to share what you feel.

Have you heard the saying it is better to have loved and lost then not to have loved at all. Life is to short, go for it . You will regret it in later years if you don't.

yikes, that's a tough one, but if you are in love you need to let it happen, because if you just stay friends, you're not giving your relationship everything you can, and you are kind of living a lie.
