I think that Women have it easier than Men. Most Men are placed in the situation of being the risk taker and asking a Women out versus a Woman being asked. There is such a strong chance of rejection involved which is further fueled and based on physical needs and emotional needs more so for Men than Women. Single Women normally have a support system in place and Single Men are usually on their own.

Men for sure....from my experience men stress a little less over the situation as far as dating goes..while women we are worriers.
But in general I wouldn't say dating is easy for anyone

Depends on what part you mean... being the one who mostly does the asking, getting yourself brave enough to ask, and probably having to fork over most of the money...or the one who has to get all done up just so because women are "supposed" to be this certain image, only act and be just so, worry about if the guy is a creep or not, worry about gently turning him down if you aren't feeling anything more then a friend and not have him hate you for it, and worry that your damned period has the mind to show up that morning...

Men and women deal with the same situation on different levels. The dating experience can be crappy for anyone. Man or woman you should always give six months to see who they really are. Sometimes it takes less time to see what they are really hiding. Good luck to anyone on the dating market.

Men have it harder as far as initially impressing the woman with good manners, flowers - asking her out it the first place but women have it harder in the sense that if she is the one to go asking men out people think she is either too forward or aggressive, if she shows an interest in sex too early people think she is a slut, if she doesn't look emaculate at all times he will think she is a dog.
A woman judges the man but society judges the woman

Overall, it's pretty much even. Men have to worry about building up the nerve to ask the women out as well as doing just the right thing to impress her. Women have to worry about chasing away undesirable suitors as well as making good impressions themselves.
We all have problems. Let's not get our feathers ruffled over it. Peace.

I think the men get the rough part in the beginning. Even today, most of the initial introduction and asking out falls on them.
But then the women have to "work" at keeping it going!

Men. Undesirable women do not often prey, stalk, annoy, and proposition men. Undesirable women also do not like to be "dance floor rapists" by coming up behind a guy and thrusting their pelvis into his behind while he is trying to dance and just have a good time.
