I've noticed that a lot of answers, to a lot of questions are pretty (forgive my french) duhmbasse,...
This is because the answer is based solely on the initial sentence in the question. The majority of serious attempts to answer in a hasty manner apparently. A lot of people don't have all the facts, that will affect an appropriate answer.

If you want the extra points and a shot at getting the best answer, wouldn't it be better if you slowed down and pondered the details - before hatching an answer?

Isn't it better to look like a brilliant genius, than a,.... okay I won't go there,...

Well, there are some people that do demonstrate that they do have some potential for greatness, except they wouldn't answer correctly, mainly because they apparently didn't read all the details or simply misinterpeted the whole question.

Being in a rush is one thing, if you're only collecting points,...
BUT once in a while, you will find a question that really catches your interest, if you want to get the best answer, please take a moment to give it your best shot.

yes, I think its very important to read the entire question. How else can a correct, well thought out answer be given. I take my time to answer questions. And yes, I agree with you, one would think you would have a better shot at "best answer" if you took the time to read and understand the question properly.

if the question is complicated and lengthy people give up and just put an answer down. nothing wrong with that just pick the one that actually answers the question. your question, your best answer. just read most of it or maybe read the details if it'll help!

you should read the whole question including the additional details so that you don't miss out on anything and don;t get tricked into doing or geting involved in some things. you get what i mean????
