1 strip isn't bad but don't make a habit of it.

Bacon is loaded with grease. It's okay to treat your dog every once in a long while, but don't make a habit of it. Table scraps are not good for any animal if given regularly.

You may not want to to give any more to your dog, as it can cause serious gastroenteritis, as well as pancreatitis. Any food that is greasy or fatty, such as bacon, can really mess up their gi tract. Not all dogs will get sick from it, and even the dogs that will may not get sick every time, but it is safest to avoid things like that in the future. If you notice any vomiting, or diarrhea in the next couple days, get to the vet.

We, as dog owners, love our pets! We may think we are doing them a favor, by giving them treats (scraps at the table, etc.) when this is actually not good for the dog at all! If you truly love your dog, do NOT give him/her any human food (or as little as your heart can stand), and also do NOT change their diet; stay with one quality brand; all the time... they won't get bored and depressed, really!

A dog's intestinal tract is very sensitive, and, even though they are omnivorous like Humans, they often have trouble, even switching between types of food, within the same brand name. Do some research (keyword: Natural Dog Food), it will actually save you money, by buying an high quality food, with no fillers, (like ground corn, which is the first ingredient in most junk dog food, and since dogs cannot digest it... they eat more, becuase they are empty calories, (really!), and what goes in, comes out the other end! By buying an all natural, high quality brand, made with real meath (chicken, lamb, turkey, etc.) your dog will consume less (becuase they know what they are getting, with regard to nutrients), and will deficate far less! (so you may actually be spending less, in the long run, becuase the food will last longer!). I used to feed my dog Nutro, (it's an English Brand, also available at most US petstores), but it's not available in the country I now live in!), so i switched him to Hill's (A.K.A. Science Diet), Natures Best ( Hill's best dog food!). Your dog will have more energy, look better, live longer, eat less, and poop less... what else will this do? It will make him/her shed less! Proper pet nutrition is highly important. I am buying the best I can, for my dog, but it's not my first choice... I pay $25 for a 17.5lb bag... but hey, when you think about how much your dogs food cost; think about how much you spend on food for yourself, when you go out, in one sitting!

No. Dogs are allergic to bacon. Get to vet FAST!

A little should be okay if your dog isn't overweight. Don't make it a habit, though, or your dog will become fat!

It's okay....but I suggest not too often....But beware of chocolate for dogs! I'm not kidding when I say that it can be lethal.
