I am so afraid to break his heart, I don't want to be a *****. Guys, any stories? Do guys get over a relationship fast? What to do?! I can't go on with it any longer, I feel no connection like he does. He tells me how much he loves me all the time.

It all comes down to how much you care for the person .
Trust me no relationship is fun all the time , you have good times and you have bad times . But then again i dont see the point in being in the relationship when you dont feel anything towards him. And NO there is no way you can break up without hurting him . Sooner or later when ever you give up and call it a quit you will hurt him , because maybe your not as devoted to him as he is to you . I know this well as i have seen my best friend go through the same situation , it depends on what kind of a guy he is , and from the looks of it as you said " he says i love to you all the time " its pretty obvious he is emotional . Emotional guys take it pretty hard but it all ends out to how they deal with it . My friend personally looks down at every female since what had happened between him and his gf . He doesnt respect females as he thinks , eventually they all play . The consequences of a break up with a person who has put a lot into the relationship differ from person to person . Some people turn cold towards other , some get depressed and do stupid things , some are sad for a month or two till they find a new person , some overeact , its all depends on persons nature and how long they have been with you

Guys tend to get all stupid when they get dumped. First he says he hates you and dont talk to him. Then 2-3 weeks later you two are like best friends.

PS: He's not in love...he's in LUST. He's just horny, needy and suffering from codependancy and insecurity.

thats a tough situation... just do it as easy as possible...and dont freak out if he goes crazy and starts saying stuff... be perapred for him either to strom away or just want to talk to ur ear off... good luck!!
