My question is, is it too early to give him a key to my apartment? Normally I would never even consider this, but we have hit it off so well and our work hours differ so much so I always have to wake him up to leave when I'm leaving for work. What do you guys think?
I've already asked this once and only got 3 answers so I'm asking again. Thanks to those that already answered.

I do think three weeks is sort of early. Did you know him before the relationship, if so, then i dont see why not. But if you didn't, i think it's definantly too early. Only for your safety, the world is getting alot stranger out there, and alot of things are happening. If you have to wake him up to leave, it's probably good to keep that like that for about another 3 weeks, make sure you both are in the relation ship for the right reason. If he has an apartment and gives you his keys, maybe it's okay, if he trusts you enough like that, maybe you can. BUt honestly... it might even scare him away, Because having the keys to your apartment, means SUPER commitment, it also means he should be helping pay some of the things, or help out with the apartment!!! if he's not helpign out with anything, then i dont see it a good thing to give him the key. Wait until things get more ordinary and regular... You'll know when it's the right time... if you question it now, it's not right. Just wait it out, and just feel it out...

Giving him a key, is like sharing the apartment. It's not a matter of letter him sleep late, he can wake up, he stayed the night, he was up as late as you, he can wake up at the same time as you too.

You're gonna be committed... to an institution. Three weeks and you know everything about him, wow that is something.....well he is very shallow or you didn't ask enough questions to trust him with a key to your apartment. How much of a background does he have? Meet any friends or family, does he have any bad habits or addictions, an arrest record. Sorry for my negativity but if he is that good he will be around in two or three years for the key. Way too early for that leap of faith on your part, don't be sorry be safe.

Yes, you probably should be committed...! Working different shifts is a BAD way to start off a relationship... True, you won't get on each other's nerves as much, but you also won't be able to spend enough time together either... Have you thought of that...? Wait it out... EVERY guy is going to be great in that little bit of time... Wait and see how he REALLY is over time... If he moves in and becomes the MONSTER, you'll have a very hard time emotionally and physically getting him to leave... If he's really the standup kind of guy, he'll wait... Don't be too eager... Let it take time... Oh yeah... MARRY HIM FIRST...!

yes. this is way too early. the glory days may wear off, and you may regret giving the key. I would wait until a least 2-3 months. That is just me though. that way if things don't work out, nothing will be messed up, and you won't have to worry about what will be going on with an untrusted man with your apartment keys.

How old are you? Thats way to early. I am glad you two hit it off but let me tell you, men do change, not saying he will, but watch it. My friend gave her boyfriend a key after 5 months and one day she got off early and he had another women over HER house. Men will cheat given the chance, and they will treat you like dirt if they think you really care about them so be careful. I have never given a man a key to my apartment.

i think you should wait, you guys have just dated each other for 3 weeks. You still have a lot to learn about him, and he still has a lot to learn about you. Giving him a key so soon will only cause problems. Try getting to know him a little better before you give him the key to your apartment.

If a girl wanted to give me a key after 3 weeks I would think maybe things were moving a bit to fast. Like maybe she thought it was more that what it is. You better make your self clear on were it is you two are going and just how fast b/4. On the other hand if she had some kick *** pad and my place was a dump, I'd be all " yeah babe it's cool . don't worry"

YES IT IS TOO EARLY
give your self some time to get to know him a little bit better
i'd say about 1 month more
if you guys do make it to 2 months
i'd say through him the keys girl
enjoy
take the time first then relax

Make sure you know what you are getting into for real. Like is he married? Does he have kids? Seriously there really are a lot of losers out there. Does he do drugs? And would he rob you blind? I asked a guy if he had kids and he told me no and as it turned out he did. He said he had no kids originally cause he didn't want to take responsibility for her. I found out by looking at his pay check as he was bitchn about the child support they took. I found out a week later I was pregnant. Can you say disaster? Be very careful. Players are for real.

That might be a little too soon for apartment keys. Trust me when I say it's such a pain trying to get them back if things don't work out between you two. Take your time and get to know him better first.
