No, it's normal and desirable. I'm a 21 year old man, and I am also a virgin. I read somewhere that about 1/2 of all people graduating from high school are virgins, so you're in good company. It's a very admirable thing, really. Have a good night!

Yes it is abnormal to be abstinent as a teen, just because it is not common place in today's society. Is it wrong? In all my experience with men if I could go back to the time when I was 15 ( that's when I lost my virginity) I would in a heartbeat.You are something so special, and so rare don't ever do what every one else is doing just because you feel like you want to be hip or in. Or whatever you may feel like your missing out on, because trust me your not missing out on anything. I can't find the words to explain how refreshing it is to know of a teenager who has such high morals. You may not have much experience with men, but when the time is right and you find a guy that is worth you how good will it feel to be able to tell him that he is the only one that you have ever shared yourself with, especially if it is on your wedding night? Good lord I just got a flash back of my mother telling me the same thing 14 years ago. Best wishes REAL1.

In the day and age we live in, yes. But that's OK! A lot of teenage boys and girls don't wait and just do it you could say "on the spur of the the moment". True love waits until the perfect time. Think about this for a minute, say you met the perfect man, he's everything you've ever wanted and dreamed of, and you really love him, but so have several other girls. Would you really want to be with a guy who has had girls (and you don't know what kind of girls) hanging all over him and having sex? A lot of girls would do it anyways. I would want whoever it is I will marry to have kept his body to himself until the perfect girl came along. A real man that wants to find the right girl will wait to have sex and when your guy comes along he will appreciate it that you haven't trashed your body with a bunch of other men. It's nice to hear that some girls still believes until waiting for the right one. Like the one that will be your Husband. You are not weird. If you end-up PG before you get done with your education you will be sorry,and not only that no guy can make the statement, that they "had" you. No!It is not weird or abnormal!It is awesome!People in your crowd will not always make you feel good about your decision especially the boys..and why would that be.haha...but you are a strong and moral individual that your husband will be totally and madly in love with for your choice of abstinence.You will be glad you chose this path!

Lets hopoe that it isn't wrong! I am the same way. I want my first time to mean something special and to not be an experiance that I will later regret. I see nothin wrong with it and I think anyone who does needs a lot of since knocked into them. You would think that virginity would still be of value in our society like it was MANY years ago.

Its not weird. Not common, but everyone's first comes 'hopefully' at the time thats right for them. you should absolutely wait until its something special, and not just cause you feel pressured to have sex.
