Two days ago I lost a parakeet, it's a she. She is green and yellow. She has a yellow colored head, light green breast area, and a light green stomach. (Yellow Tail) She is finger trained and is not able to fly too much. I think someone could have taken her. I live in Carteret, New Jersey. If anyone's seen this kind of bird. Please let me know.

I know it won't really help, but it never hurts to try. (Bird Lover)

I lost one of my parakeets once...turned out she was very close by to my house...i was sitting outside one day and i saw her sitting on a branch of one of my bushes...i took out the bird cage where the other birdies were, and she flew to it...i guess she was excited to see them...just keep an eye out in your garden and around your house...i really hope she shows up....you could also try recording some parakeet sounds on a cd or soemthing and playing it out on your porch or something...she might hear it and be attracted to it...best of luck!!!

Have you put up flyers?
If not, offer a reward.
Put them up near elementary schools. Little kids notice more than adults.
Good luck, hope you find her.
