my 13 year old is ADHD and when you add in hormones/puberty, it is intensly magnified by the disorder...he is currently taking 10mg of Adderall...he seems to have more control over himself while on it and we can definately tell a huge difference when he doesn't take it...he actually comes to me and asks me for his meds 8 out of 10 times and has told me how much better he feels while on it...if its not working well, talk to your doc...it could be that its not the right dosage or not the right drug for you...

I just asked my 10 year old son and he said not really. He said he had a hard time especially in school settings.
He was on a really low dose though, 10mgs. So it could be all the difference if your dose is higher.
