I've heard that Tea Tree Oil is good for spots. I don't know how fast it works. There is no medical proof that diet affects how many blemishes a person might get. Buy keeping your skin clean (not over scrubbing it) and keeping your hands away from your face help.
If the the spots bug you because they are really red, you can try a little cream with cortisone in it, but don't use it too often. It will help lessen the redness, but long term use isn't good

Sorry, spots on your face, either by acne or otherwise, will not disappear within a few days, nor a few weeks. But depending on your age, and race your skin might respond to an oldy but goody called TEN-O-SIX. It's hard to find, but look in Walgreens, or Rite Aid stores. Apply with cotton ball after washing face. If your skin tends to be oily, take it with you to use during the day, after sweating or Another remedy is Porcelana, or Esoterica. Both come in different strengths, so look for the one for the face, and AVOID THE EYE AREA. Do a skin test first, like a little spot on your chin after your wash your face, and see if you have a reaction. Esoterica is stronger, but effective. Porcelana is milder, and effective also, but the results will be slower. Wash your face every night with a simple mild soap like Ivory, don't scrub with wash cloth, massage with fingertips, and wipe off with a clean wash cloth. Then (if skin test is successful) apply a thin layer on face before going to bed. DO NOT USE FOR A FEW DAYS IF YOU PLAN ON SPENDING A LONG TIME OUT IN THE SUN. DO NOT USE ON SUN BURNS. MIX ALOE VERA GEL AND/OR VITAMIN E, OR COCOA BUTTER OR SHEA BUTTER WITH VITAMIN E. Great for healing the skin, and soothing. This is my remedy, after years of suffering with acne and spots after the acne dried up.

Wow, not much time. The best stuff I've ever used is Oxy10 vanishing lotion/cream. It really drys the spots out, but only time will heal them completely.

i have found that medications containing 10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE are very quick and effective at clearing one's skin of blemishes. it is very strong, but available OTC, and will probably dry your skin out if you use it with much fequence. you should try it, it's only a few dollars ,3-5, and might make a world of difference. good luck.
