The ? is what did YOU do wrong, NOT your dogs. If the 20 bucks was so important to you, why was it just sitting on the table? If the dogs did this while they had toys and bones available, then imagine what they could tear up, without those distractions, so taking them away was stupid move. And I also work very hard for my money, and I have had dogs tear up things worth well over $20.00, but I didn't feel the need to beat them.(And someone should beat you for doing so!) I can only pray that these dogs will find a more intellectually and financially responsible owner. And sweetie if $20.00 can create such a traumatic event in your life, it seems obvious that you cannot afford these dogs. So why do you have them?

Put your chairs on the table upside down so they done get up their again. Because they will try again.

But do give them their toys back they are dogs and probably did that along time ago and have forgotten that part of the day. So they need their toys before the go after a shoe or something else.

First off, a question is an interogative statement, posed to ellicit a response of opinion, or fact... yours was a statement, not a question. Second was a question, what would I have done? well, as you cannot speak the only language you know properly, I will therefore assume you to be a borderline moron... so I will spell this out to you; your dogs (although in many ways mentally superior to you) cannot speak, and cannot understand your lunatic ravings, when you get angry! If you caught them in the act of being on the table, then they will most likely assume that they are not supposed to be on the table... since they have no concept of the value of money! I wish you would give them to a responsible adult, who can handle having dogs, and treat them will love and understanding. Lastly, please get fixed! A person like you should NOT have children!!!

i had a dog do that two some money of mine once.. she shredded about 100 dollars.. but you have to remember they are dogs.. and depending on the breed.. they do not have great memories... i would not have punished them... maybe you should move the chairs away from the table or not put your money where they can see.. they must like the color green..
give their toys back or they may eat something else you do not want them to bc they have nothing to chew on.

By the time you got home they most likely had no idea what their obviously idiotic abusive owner was beating them for. Dogs acting out because you leave is separation anxiety, they don't do it to be bad..they do it because they are anxious and scared (something you just managed to make even worse). All you did was create a situation that is going to cause more anxiety, and frankly if your first instinct is to hurt your dogs because they piss you off....do them a favor...find them a better owner.

Hate to break it to you but your dogs have no idea why you are hitting them. You need to be extra careful where you put stuff if you don't want your dogs to get into things, I have 5 dogs and I have had my share of bad times with them, but you need to remember to put your stuff away where you don't want them to get it. Getting on the table is a big no no and you should probably take them to a professional dog trainer to learn the proper way to punish them.
