I'm from Northern Ireland an so I'd prolly survive unless it was a pretty big nuke.
The UK writes the software for Patriot missiles in Northern Ireland but those patriot missiles don't seem to be doing the Israelis much good.
The UK has an arsenal of nuclear missiles which can be fired from submarines in secret locations. A lot of english would be dead but the rest of us would fight.

Depends who you are and who did it.
If you're on a trident submarine you'd start a launch sequence if we know who did it.
If you're in the senior civil service and government you'd head down to the bunker.
If you're the monarchy you get heli'd out.
If you were any of the 7-9 million inhabitants of central london - you'd die.

If you're far enough from ground zero, shut your eyes, drop to the floor and Lie face down, head pointing to the blast. Tuck your arms under your body and prepare for two blast waves. The primary wave will hit you head first (travelling away from ground zero) and then the secondary wave will hit you (heading back into ground zero to fill the vacuum). straight after this happens, run to cover (roof over yourself and dust yourself down (radioactive dust). If you have an NBC suit (Nuclear Biological Chemical) put it on. If not, stay put and hope for rescue.

Well, the city would be anhiliated, and lots of people would die. Why yo asked this, I have no clue, since noone has declared war on England except for some arab extermists who wil never possess a weapon of that caliber
