i found a coin. it isn't worth anything in money value becaue it does not have any money symbols or number on it. on the front it has a eagle with a banner saying in god we trust. all around the eagle is has bible versus- exodus 15:26/ john 14:6/ malachi 3:10/ isaiah 40:31. if you flip it over it says who ever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved- romans 10:13 in big letters. this side also has bible verses on it saying- job 29:12/ deut 5:7/ isaiah 53:5.
where the little tiny letters saying where it was made says HM. can anyone tell me how these bible verses correspond with each other. also where can i get one. i am not interested in selling it but how much would it sell for.

Sounds like it is not a coin, but a medal. Hold the 'coin' in between your thumb and forefinger facing the front of the 'coin.' Rotate the 'coin' on it axis. Is the back also upright like the face? Or is the back upside down?

If both sides are 'up,' then it is a medal. If the front is up and the back down, then it is a coin. Test this with any US coin and you will see what I mean. That is called 'coin-alignment,' when one side is up and the other side down. Both sides up is called 'medal-alignment.'

I have a 'coin' that was driving me crazy because I could not ID it. The writing on both sides is Arabian and I could find no translator. It is over a hundred years old and made of bronz or copper. Finally, a waitress mentioned to me that she was fluent in all dialects of Arabic. She took one look at my 'coin,' smiled and said to me, "A Hindu family gave you this as a gift!"

"No," I replied, "I found it."

She said to me that it was a religious medal which read: "Allah is good to you."

I suspect your 'coin' is also a religious medal made by some religious group. Check the New Testament verses for yourself. I have no idea what the 'HM' could mean. Also, what is the metal? Silver will jingle when it is dropped or knocked against other coins. Silver is a very common metal for earlier coins and all medals.

You have an interesting find. I would keep.

Best,

H

About $25.00...........that sounds neat! Look the verses up in the bible.......maybe you can figure out how they correspond!
Don't listen to them.......they are just being the common person who puts their noses in stuff they know they don't need to mess with
