The big difference between the two is the spices and a few other items as follows as I make my own from scratch all the time.

Pizza Sauce is as follows.
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste 1 1/2 cups water 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced salt to taste ground black pepper to taste 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano 1/2 tablespoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

Spaghetti Sauce
Tomatoes - about 20 lbs cooked down and seeds and skin removed
1/2 cups chopped onions 3 Tablespoons of oregano 2 cloves of garlic, minced 4 bay leaves 2 Tablespoons diced, fresh OR dried basil 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 cup chopped celery 2 Tablespoons chopped green peppers 1 teaspoon salt 2 Tablespoons olive oil 1/4 red wine (optional) Mushrooms up to 1 lb. And if you like your spaghetti sauce thick, add 2 Tablespoons corn starch

Spaghetti sauce has a lot more going on in the recipe. It usually has onion and garlic and red pepper flakes in it.
Pizza sauce is pretty basic and usually just consists of tomato puree and oregano. It can't be anything too much or it competes with the toppings on the pizza.

Nothing. I use the same tomato sauce I make for spaghetti on pizza.

Pizza sauce is generally thicker and smoother than Marinara (your "typical" spaghetti sauce). It's often not as heavily seasoned, so that the tomato flavor comes through a little better.

The difference is the spicing, add some oregano, basil, thyme, garlic and onion to taste and you should have a good sauce for pasta. I use jar or canned spaghetti sauce for pizzas, because my family finds it bland. I also add diced tomatoes, shredded carrots, and sliced mushrooms to add some more flavor and bulk to my pasta sauce. You can use canned tomatoes but any other vegetable should be fresh.

One is on pizza dough, the othe ris on pasta.

They are essentially the same. I use spaghetti sauce from a jar for my pizza sauce, if I have no homemade sauce on hand.

They're practically the same although the pizza sauce is sometimes thicker but not always it depends on personal preference.
