my moms friend has a who is like 13 and she wants to know how to tell her about it and how it will like really hurt her first time.. any advice on how to tell her?

It's sad that the girls mother wants to scare her by telling her it's going to hurt. That doesn't have to be true, with proper preparation. If she is 13, then she already knows about the birds and the bees. Even if she knows, someone needs to tell her all the facts to be sure that she hasn't been told something that isn't educationally or medically right. I told my daughter because my wife was always traveling for her work. It was a good conversation, even though I was nervous. She asked lots of questions and I even asked her some questions about what she knew and other things. Just make a list of the highlights so you don't forget anything. Then calmly, peacefully, one item at a time, go through the list and tell her everything. Yes, everything. Good Luck
