Massachusetts just voted basketball as the state sport. I guess it's because the Basketball Hall of Fame is in Springfield. I haven't followed basketball since Larry Legend retired. I think most people in the state would vote baseball because Red Sox finally won. I'd of voted Football cause Pats are awesome 3 Super Bowls in 4 years. But for some unknown reason the public was not allowed to vote on this. It was left up to the politicians. Make any sense to you?
