the exact measure for a shot is 1 oz. most bars usually pour 1.5 oz in a drink.
if you are looking for the measurements of shots then a 750 will give 25.368 ounces, and a liter will give 33.824 ounces.

The truth is a shot is 1 oz approximately. Trying to pour that much in one shot could prove to be fatal.

I have no idea what the US use as a regular shot, but over here its 25ml in some bars and 35ml in others. Around 21 shots using 35ml measures and 30 using 25ml.

That would give you 25.368 shots in a .750 liter bottle and 33.824 shots in a liter bottle.

What is a standard drink in the United States?
A standard drink is equal to 13.7 grams of pure alcohol or
12-ounces of beer.
8-ounces of malt liquor.
5-ounces of wine.
1.5-ounces or a “shot” of 80-proof distilled spirits or liquor (gin, rum, vodka, whiskey, etc).
from:
http://www.cdc.gov/alcohol/faqs.htm#4
so, if 1 ounce = 30 ml
then 1.5 ounces = 45 ml....
Therefore a .750 ltre should give you about 16.6 standard pours
and a 1 litre should give you 22.2 pours.
