Deal with your problem responsibly: get a couple of close friends together and get drunk. REAL drunk!
Pass out, possibly after vomiting, wake up the next day and suffer through your hangover, go to bed. The day after that, you'll feel fine again and you won't be as upset at the person as you are now. You'll also recognize how bad of an idea you are having right now.
I trashed someone's car before and I got brought up on Felony charges. I believe the charge was Felony Destruction of Personal Property. The damages were $800, which was enough to trigger the felony charges.
To replace an engine costs way more than that.

After you have been charged with Crininal Damaging,6-18 mo. in jail, restitution: $1800-$5500 or more( depending on the make of the vehicle) fines- $250-$500+ court cost($50 to $150) future employers' who question your police record and future loss of wages because no one will hire you to work????? Oh well ,you do the math(any and all internet communications can be traced back to the sender so prosecution of your act will be a shut and closed case) Also if you cannot pay the fine or restitution that will add another day for every dollar you can't come up with

It won't ruin your engine but using an octane booster in a Saturn is futile. To utilize high octane you need an engine that has a higher than your Saturn's compression ratio. The LOWEST octane grade pump gas is MORE than your Saturn will ever need. Don't waste your money.

The filter will remove the sand, requires too much bleach, sugar will disolve and gum up a carberator but go thru fuel injection. I find cutting the tires works best :)

If I were you, I would re-think my revenge tactics...if you happen to somehow trash the engine it could cost upwards of $2,500.00 to replace -- which makes this action a FELONY. Hope you enjoy 16 months in the lock-up.

Please rethink this situation.
To replace an engine is very costly.
Go against your natural instincts, and get Unpissed at this person. It will pay off in the long run. They may be your only friend one day.
