You have a couple of choices from Philadelphia.

1. From PHL to New Carrollton, MD -- midway between Washington DC and Baltimore.

The schedule says:
train #131 leaves Phil-30th St Station at 8:12 am,
and arrives at 9:49 am in New Carrollton (NCR)
Ticket price is $40.

There are 9 other trains at $54 each. Departures are 4:55 am, and 9:32 am and hourly until 3:31 pm.

From NCR, you can take a convoluted #87-88 route bus to Greenbelt. Fare is $1.80 - $3.60 depending on age. You'll have to navigate the bus map (see WMATA.com)

Perhaps you should take a taxi between NCR and Greenbelt, or have someone pick you up.

2. From PHL to WAS (Washington DC), then by Metro to Greenbelt.
Basically, the same trains & prices as above.
Then take the Metro Red line from Union Station to Ft Totten station, and transfer to the Green line to Greenbelt.

New Carrollton, MD (NCR) station
4300 Garden City Dr.
New Carrollton, MD 20785

Greenbelt station
5717 Greenbelt Metro Drive, Greenbelt, MD
Cherrywood Lane at CSX/MARC RR. Access off exit 24 of inner loop I-495

Hope this helps.

Phildelphia PA to Baltimore Penn Station on Amtrak.

Take the Baltimore light rail south from Penn Station to Camden Yards.

MARC Camden Line stops at Greenbelt Metro Station.

But..... Camden line only runs during rush hour.
