Well, I am fourteen years old, and I am starting to get a moustache. I don't want it, but I don't have hair anywhere else on my face. Should i shave it, and if so, can someone please tell me how? My dad is deployed overseas right now, so he can't help. Thanks!

Not too difficult, honestly. I would recommend shaving it as in my experience back in High Schools, girls hate a little moustache. Basically, just get yourself a decent razor (I recommend Gilette Mach 3, that's what I use) and some shaving cream (Just about anything will do there and can be gotten for a buck or two). Just get a little bit of lather and run the razor over it. You might nick yourself, but most triple blade razors are effective enough that it'll never be anything severe. Just go downward on the first swipe and then back the other way subsequently to make sure you get all the stubble. If you hack yourself a little, no worries, it's summer, not likely to catch any grief from anyone about it right now.

Start by using a good safety razor - the single or double bladed kind you can get at the store. Bics will do nicely until you get the hang of it. They're cheap.

First, get the water good and hot and wash your face a lot. Use lots of water on the area you want to shave. The hot water will actually moisten the hairs and make them easier to cut.

Use a good slipperly soap, or shave cream. If you're using the cream from a can, it's easy to just squirt a bit on your hand. If you're using soap, work it up until you have a nice lather. Spread it evenly. (Be sure now to rinse the hand that's going to hold the razor.)

Now, the hardest part is learning to hold or position the razor. Think of the blade position and move the handle UP until the blade is more FLAT against the angle of your skin than Perpendicular. Bring the razor down in even strokes, starting lightly and repeating until you get the feel for it. Adjust as needed so that you cut more hair than skin....
