Basically - I am involved with my room mate. Anyway - This is the first time friends have been over since we have been involved, because this is a new place. We used to live in seperate places. Is it wrong for me to want to be "notified" when their friends come over. I mean, I am getting out of the shower and I hear people in our place..., so now I am in my room with the door shut because I do not know these people. What are your thoughts.?

It's basic courtesy for any one you live with to let you know about that kind of stuff even if you are just roommates and especially if you are involved I don't understand why he or she wouldn't have told you. Let him or her know that he or she does not have to ask permission, just give you a heads up, especially if you're coming out of the shower!

Well for now there's nothing you can really do. i think you should just get dressed in something laid back but coo looking and go out and meet his/her friends. And then when they leave ask for a heads up next time so that you dont feel so ackward. If they care than they'll respect you enough to let you know next time. Good Luck!

it would have been nice if you were told. i would ask your room/ partner, next time to let you know if friends were coming over. i would go out and enjoy yourself. and introduce your self to your company. have a good time.

i believe its polite like you are both paying rent and that, just maybe give a polite nudge like say ur inviting some one over but then again sutle hints dont always work, say you dont really have no objections you just like to have a bit of notice...
