I agree. I hate religion too. Always trying to tell you what to do and how to do it, and for what? No matter how good I am, I am never going to be perfect. It's enough to make a person go insane. That's why I will follow Jesus who loves me just as I am.

I doubt very seriously your rights are under seige by religion. Actually it is the religious people that are under siege, prayer has been removed from school, evolution can be taught, but not
christianity. I haven't seen a Christian yet to refuse to let someone enter a building, but try going into one and smoke, as a matter of fact God's house is open to anyone, you don't even have to get fancied up to go. Come as you are you will be welcomed, with open arms.

Spirituality and/or religion may not be the answer, but neither is atheism. You'll have to choose a religion eventually, when the depressing thought of your body rotting away under a compost heap finally hits you hard enough, or you feel so hopeless that you shout out any supernatural being's name (for Inari's sake, dun shout God. Doesn't help.) . I suggest you look now and become familiar with said deity before it's too late and you die You won't go to hell, by any means, no. Hell is nonexistant. It's a creation of Christianity to scare you into following what they call an "ethical code." Only you decide where you go....but it's easier to decide if you know what really exists, isn't it?

It is fair for your to defend your right. People do talk about their religion and that is their right.
Some testify about their experience only to share something they think is good. Just like when you find a bundle of money and you like to tell your friends about it. No different with the religion people.
Unless when you are forced at gun point then I think religion is worst thing there is. I don't think its religion, I think is the belief that affect people.
But then, its up to each individual to accept it or not. I listen to everyone who talked about religion. I know what I want, if I had enough of listening to it, then I will say I do not want to discuss it, or say maybe next time.

My rights are under seige by people without religion. Why can I not oppose what you stand for with every "fibre of my being?"

Religion? Hummm. . . . .your right ! Religion is not the answer. We can not see God so He must not be there. You think? But on the other hand I can not see gravity. If I was to jump off a 10 story building I would kill myself. You could say I fear gravity. If a break just one of the Ten Commandments should I fear God's wrath ? And if so should I seek a Savior?

So, you're being intrusive here (in the category Religion & Spirituality) because someone was intrusive to you where?
Your rights are under siege? What rights are you talking about, exactly?

Could you please tell me precisely which rights I am besieging?
I am not religious, I am a christian. There is a very big difference.
I do not attempt to take away anyone's legitimate rights, providing that said rights actually belong to the person in the first place.
Please clarify your question, right now it is a rant. If you wish to know why christianity opposes a certain thing I'll be happy to tell you :).
