Im a photographer and need to know if i can charge batteries over there

You should get one just in case...different countries have different types of plugs, and u dont want to get caught unprepared.

Funnily enough, South Korea has both 110 Volts (as in the US) and 220 Volts (as in other parts of South East Asia).

Most hotels are 220 volts and you need a voltage converter (transformer) to run your US appliances.

Also you would need an Adaptor to suit the S.Korean plug sockets into which your transformer is to be plugged since they are different from the US sockets and plugs.

Yes, you have to bring an ac adapter since their electric voltage is 220. It is better be safe than sorry. Unless you are going to stay on a military base since they have conversion to 110. But I would still suggest to bring one that is for camera use only. If you buy one make sure that it is for your camera. They have different voltage for blow dyrer and camera.
