its the fundies that take little things to the extreme and put a bad name to Islam. it IS about peace and lovin but those so called Muslims in the mid-east and over here in America arent muslims if they act in such manners.

It is very legalistic. If someone thinks you aren't muslim correctly according to their sect, then they think you're guilty. It's a dog eat dog world. There isn't religion freedom in Islam. Some are very pious so very critical of others. If you fall from faith, it is the death sentence after 3 warnings.

Many Muslims believe that they are the victims. The think everybody (the infidels) is out to kill them, so they think they are fighting back in the defense of Islam.
Islam means "submission". They believe they have to submit to its teachings, and one of them is Jihad, the holy battle. For many, pure Islam, is the continual struggle against the infidels (that will be you).

No in the Koran it says kill the infadel meaning anyone who is not islamic that would include atheists just so you know
