I am not sure of this, but check the Discus Dental website. They are the company that makes Zoom. We do Zoom in our office, but I personally have not been overly impressed with the results. When you pay $500.00 for whitening you want to see great results and the results that I have seen at this office and at others that do the Zoom are not really very dramatic. The trays take longer but in some cases work better. Check into doing that if you havent already.

Please check your local yellow pages for a dentist doing Zoom. Many of them offer free or reduced cost whitening for new patients.

I agree with the poster above that Zoom seems to be falling out of fashion. If not for "Extreme Makeover", it might not be around today. Dr. Bill Dorfman, who started Discus Dental, is one of the star doctors on the show and he promotes Zoom whitening on the program.

I've seen the trays work just as well as Zoom. We did a little experiment on our own staff and found that the solution without the light equipment worked just as well as with the light. I think the light is a gimmick.
