One can we neither prove nor disprove "God"?
Because none can be found "out there" no matter how far you reach with telescopes, VLAs or space ships,
nor can anyone enter the mind of a believer, where mental creations -- "spirit" beings such as gods, devils, angels, souls of the dead, produced out of the individual's wishes or fears -- reside.
Though they are individualized fantasies, all different for each believer, the person imagines that the ones others believe in are the same as his or her own. This helps the believer to identify with and internalize statements and expressions others make about their deities when those deities appear to match the person's own internal images, or reject those expressions if the images diverge too much from the believer's own ideas.
Thus, believers make choices in what religion and what writings to follow, based on their individual ideas, and produce apologetics aimed at explaining differences and discrepancies in statements found in the religious literature to make it all fit their underlying personal notions.
Ultimately, every individual believer has his or her own personal "god", since no mind can replicate anyone else's.
Albert Einstein said he believed in "Spinoza's God", thus pointing to the tangible, observable Nature as the only thing ever identified as "God" about whose existence all can agree even if most people would not call the Cosmos "God". Carl Sagan said it is the Cosmos which is all that is, ever was, and ever will be.

Have you ever 'studied' the Bible? I don't mean just read a little, I mean study each book carefully. Whats it all about? Who wrote each book. Study what the critics say. There were over 40 different authors, and the Bible was compiled over 1500 years or so. Have you look at all the historical and archaeological agreement to it? Many people do not believe it-but they can not refute it. Many in fact who attempt to prove the Bible wrong, wind up believing it.
What about the change in the lives of the disciples (historical). They went from cowards to brave valiant men who were not afraid to die. They believed in something strong enough to die for it. How do you explain the dynamic change is a persons life who has been born again? I think God is obvious-but I have an advantage over you. Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3 that "...unless you are born again you can not see the kingdom of God". I am born again, its kinda like I have a window to see through and you don't.

The great thing about life is that you can believe whatever you want. There is no proof that God exists. That’s why they call it faith. The cold hard truth is that when we die, we die. It’s a bleak view, but it’s the truth. Sometimes life is not a bed of rose pedals, but that’s life.
What you choose to believe inevitably falls on you. I will give you some links though so that you understand the scientific side to it. Many religious people do not understand, or purposely distort science in order to support their own conclusions.

Honestly, any religion that has anything to do with a high deity is not worth it. Because, quite frankly in my opinion, there is none. My proof? Where was God on September 11, 2001; last year during the Hurricanes; and in November, when my town was horribly struck by a F5 tornado, levelled, and innocent children were killed? Where is Allah in Iraq, where American soldiers kill or capture "freed" men? Where is a god, period? I don't think there is.
However, if you do feel the need of getting a religion, I'd look thoroughly into Buddhism. Religion itself is just a brace to lean upon in times of need, and "God" is something to "support" that brace.

Hmm...That's a hard question to answer. Have a baby forming inside me and all the miraculous things that happen in the womb made me think, if all these fascinating things can be going on inside me, only God could do that. Plus, well, something had to be here in the beginning to create everything, so it just makes sense to me that it must be God. Also, the way my life has changed since knowing God. And the fact that I couldn't kill myself, like God took over my will and made it impossible for me to kill myself and that is reason enough to believe.

I think faith is like your tastedbuds everyone's is different & I wouldn't try to convince you into a faith cause it really just what your soul decides:) but I think that what proves my faith to me is the things that start to happen(for the better) when I start to put my whole trust in a higher power & believe.....my life was ...well...not really good & I didn't see anywhere or anyone to turn to & that's when I knew that there was someone/ somethin lookin out for me.... that's when my life started to turn around for the good...not instantly but it was fast enough for me:) I really hope you find a faith (or embrace the one u have) cause then it will embrace u right back(ya...kinda corny but rather true:) Peace out & Rock On:)

Look all around you! The trees the heavens the stars, theres a book about it. This DIDNT happen by accident, a world as beutiful(pardon spelling) as ours happened on accident? NO! I was watching a show and they used probabilty to prove that the chances of a inteligent race evolving from an single cell organism was ZILCH, NADA, ZERO! its impossible!! the human kind race was created by a all powerful GOD, even in the end of Darwins book it mentions a creator..LOOK AROUND YOU! NONE OF THE WORLD WAS AN ACCIDENT! Sure theres a little evolution hera nd there, such as our appendex, becoming useless, but thats adapting to our surroundings, back when we were created we didnt cook our food therefore we need our appendix to process our food, but since we started cooking our food we adapted to not using it!...thats my stroy and im sticking to it

Just look around you....at the beauty and wonder that the world has to offer. Or just looks into the sky at night and look and the stars at night , and the vast galaxies that lie beyond. Or even look at your amazing body. I don't know how all this could exist without a higher being than us.
