soak em in hot water then soak em in cold about 2 minutes each if they are whole, then freeze. If you slice em, then sprinkle a little vinger and lemon juice(season if you like) then freeze them. My grand dad taught me this, rest his soul, and I do it to this day. This way I have tomatoes from my garden.

yeah, that's just it. Rinse, pat dry, put in bag and take all the air out. Seal, freeze. When you take them out and thaw them, they will be softer, a little bit mushier, but good. Maybe they won't look the best for a salad to impress anyone, but otherwise they're ok.

I don't know, but my mom has at least 3 bags of frozen tomatoes in the freezer and we have no room to put any good stuff in there.

Oh yes!!!

Freezing tomato recipe

Step 1: Don't freeze them or they will get mushy!
Step 2: Hit yourself in the head with a wooden spoon for thinking such a crazy thing! (Not too hard)

Then, mix in large bowl until there are no more lumps. Preheat oven to 2000 degrees (yes a kiln would work best) and throw in the tomatoes!
