Stupid Christian don't you know how to spell?
Okay, now that I have returned the insult, you don't know if you are going to get an afterlife either. You have faith that you will, but faith is the belief in something that cannot be proved (and I don't mean by bible verses, you can't prove something is true with the same source).
The bible mentions an afterlife often, but that is suspect in the King James Version, which is the version that you know and love. The King James Version was written in 1611 when the feudal system was controlling Europe. The Christian Church said that it was bad to have slaves (well at least white ones). Agriculture is manpower intensive. Without 19th and 20th century machines farming was the same as it was in ancient Egypt (the only difference was refinements in the plow—which still took a person to guide it). It took a lot of people to plant and harvest the crops. Most of the population was needed to raise the crops and the animals that fed everyone else. Back then there was no middle class; a person was either a noble, or a peasant (religious leaders were nobles, except for the monks who worked like peasants). To prevent revolt and to keep the peasants working on the farms the feudal system was invented. It said that the king was appointed by divine right and that everyone below the king owed the king service. The peasants owed the king the product of their labor—their crops. Life was very hard for the peasants, with few to no luxuries. When tax time came the tax collectors took what the peasants owed the king and through the king, his nobles. They took this payment right off the top, if that meant that the peasants would starve, then so be it. The only way to keep the people in line was to raise a huge Army (which would quickly starve) or to use the Church. The Church leaders taught that God appointed the kings and queens, along with the pope (the “king” of the Church). They taught that if the peasants worked hard in this life, if they toiled in their fields and obeyed the laws of the land, and more importantly the laws of the Church, then they would be rewarded in the after life. This kept them in line and was a perfect scam, because once a person died they couldn’t come back to say if there was an after life or not. It also made sure that the nobles, even the kings, had to bow down to the Church. The Church used the idea of Hell to punish the wicked, especially anyone that disagreed with the Church. Such people were labeled as heretics and burned at the stake—the most painful and horrible way to kill someone.
So heaven and hell are just concepts to keep the peasants in line. We know that the King James Bible has an agenda because they made all the biblical leaders into White people. We also know that its text and teachings are suspect. When Galileo observed the moons of Jupiter he proved that everything did not revolve around the sun so, at least in part, the bible is wrong.
All this brings into question the idea of an after life. It just sounds like a scam that is just too good to be true. So people like me doubt, you have no proof; you only have faith, and the word of one flawed book. It may be a good one, but the Bible is not the actual word of God, it is the word of Man INSPIRED by God. Therefore it is subject to error and interpretation.
Finally, there is the Word of God himself. The Christian God is ALL-FORGIVING. He is willing to forgive ANY sin; if I live my life in a good way, if I follow a good moral code, like the 10 Commandments. Then I can’t see the All-Forgiving God sending me to hell, simply because I doubted his existence. I am the Doubting Thomas; I need to put my fingers in the wounds of Jesus, risen from the dead in order to believe.
I don’t say that I am an atheist because I want to piss off Christians. I was raised a Roman Catholic, so I know the teachings of God and the bible. When I became an adult I made an INFORMED decision about God. I don’t see any scientific evidence for God’s existence, or even why he has to be a man. I only believe in what I know is true, or can be proven by objective evidence
Since you started the insults, I can call you a sheep following the herd, a person that is told what to believe, and doesn’t have the room in their brain to question anything. If man never questioned anything then he would never have discovered fire or tools. No other animal uses fire, and the only other animal that uses tools are chimpanzees who use straws to draw ants or termites out of their nest. Man’s questioning nature has given him everything that he has and the animals don’t, including the bible.
So you are condemning people to hell simply because they are questioning religion and the bible. If Christianity were perfect then there wouldn’t have to be so many different versions. These versions exist because some Christians question their religion. Or do you believe that all Baptists are going to hell simply because they don’t believe that a person can “talk in tongues.” Baptists are questioning the bible, and Baptists are people who are known to really study the bible very hard.
People fear those that aren’t like them or are different. When we were cavemen this was a good idea because your tribe was your family, and you had to be careful about anyone who was not in your tribe. This primal fear is the source for all racial and religious hatred, and the excuse to treat black people like stupid animals, so they could enslave them. Religious extremists keep this hate going, and they fear anyone who doesn’t believe as they do. They especially fear those who question their religion. There is always the question that they are afraid to even think about; “What if my religion is wrong, what if I have lived my entire life wrong?” Shall I continue the insults by saying that only intelligent people question the things about them? In fact I believe that with all the sins committed by organized religions and all the hatred inspired by religions, then the best candidates for hell are the religious extremists, and this includes any intolerant religious people like you!

(1) Just because someone doesn't believe in Jesus doesn't mean they are atheist. Look it up.
(2) Some Christians believe in several levels of hell and heaven, as well as an in-between place where virtuous pagans go. So even the authorities of your own religion can't agree on the subject.
(3) It isn't nice to call people stupid. Aren't you supposed to love even your own enemies? And what did the atheists do to piss you off?

I'm not an atheist, but there is no such thing as hell. Hell is a concept made by man so that he could control people by scaring them. If God or Jesus made all of us and love's all of us, I doubt he will not, not let us into heaven. I've been pondering if there is a heaven too. I think there IS an after life, but not a heaven or hell. God made all of our souls, so once our bodies die(the Shell that contains our soul), our soul has to go somewhere-we won't be "just dead". Don't believe the bible word for word, it was written by man. Man has a tendency to either lie or exaggerate things for his own purposes.

to answer your question yes they know
it is people like you that cause so much hate in this world. i read this question and a bit of sadness touches my heart. i was raised Lutheran. i now call my self agnostic meaning i have no religion but i believe in god. i have a few suggestions for you
1 lose the stupid - it might cause more people to look at your question but it angers many people, closing their minds to your point of view
2 atheists are not the only people whom do not believe in Jesus - you should mention the Jews the Muslims and at least the Buddhist (the more the better)
3 sentence structure - i am not a master of this, but if you are going to stay stupid things at least make them sound smart

Why do you such Christians have to make us look bad. Besides you can not judge. You do not have that right. Christ decides who goes to hell or not. No wonder some atheist look to Christians and see a bad rap. What good comes from scaring the "hell out of them"? Think man think. You get more bees with honey than vinegar :)

Perhaps a little spell checker might be useful for you. I take it you're still at school? How do you know that God (for you believers) really cares about human beings?
Imagine this. You’ve just bought a new home which you furnish with all sorts of nice fittings and fixtures, then prepare the grounds and garden. You plant a wide range of trees, shrubs, flowers, plants and vegetables. You clip and prune as time goes on, spray the weeds, and generally keep your property in good shape.
Many years pass and your gardens are flourishing, not a weed to be seen anywhere. You head off on holiday, a weed pops up and bugs start to crawl all over it. Not to worry, when you return home you spray the gardens, killing all the bugs and weeds. Everything is back to normal.
Now consider the universe. After billions of years a little planet (weed) called Earth pops up and it’s crawling with bugs called humans. Do you really think the gardener (or creator) really cares about the bugs and weeds? Do you think the gardener cares if he destroys you? Do you think that the bugs (humans) on the weed (Earth) have any idea what’s going on in the rest of garden (universe)? What happens to all human beings is just the same as what happens to all bugs and weeds.

You're right they will go to hell but don't call them stupid even if they are because 1 Jesus wouldn't do that and 2 that might drive them away from God

Hey you do know insulting atheists isn't the way to go aye?...You need to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Atheists may be atheists because they don't want to acknowledge God, or else that would mean they'd be accountable for their actions and would need to change. So their belief, or lack of belief, could be because they want to control all areas of their lives. Or they may just not be able to fathom that there is a God and need more solid evidence. Josh McDowell a well known christian speaker used to be a hard out atheist, intent on disproving Gods existence and in his endeavors to disprove God, he found he couldn't and found God was really for real. Anywayz, that's what I think. And yes I am a christian in case you're wondering.

While I think it is nice you are trying to save the Athiests out there from eternal damnation.... I know that I wouldn't want to accept Jesus if somebody were calling me "Stupid" and cramming it down my throat in an unloving manner.
I sometimes wonder if people post stuff like that to make Christians look bad... but then I also remember that some peopel call themselves Christians and DO act like this.
In our defense... we aren't all like that.

Unless, of course, the Judeo-Christian God doesn't exist. Now if another god were to exist (and there are infinite possibilities) you're in the same boat as us. The chance that you chose the correct god is infinitely small, do you like those odds?
Remember, all religions can't be correct, but they can all be wrong.
