When your puppy is having trouble it will be obvious to you.If that should occur you need to contact a vet immediately. If she has trouble, you could the puppies not only the puppies you could lose your puppies and the dog.It is important she recieve vet care,if it is obvious she is having trouble and you wait they may have to put her to sleep. They can do a c-section but if you wait too long there really isnt no use and you wont be able to save your puppies and/or your dog.Just comfort her and watch her closely especially if she is a small dog or is having bigger puppies than her breed.

normally the female will take care of everything herself but if there's complications accures and trust me, u'll know when there's something wrong. then u should take it to the vet right away because the puppies are weak and their lives are so fragile so rather be safe than sorry!

It's been an hour since you asked, If you're not at the vet's by now, and she's still having trouble, you should be.

just be there if any complications arise, if you get a lifeless puppy, rub it in a towel GENTLY to get the blood flowing and heart beating. Don't intervene too much just be there to observe. any major complications, take to vet IMMEDIATELY.
