I don't think someone should be judged in such a situation. We unfortunately live in a society where we feel the need to judge people all the time.

My mom and I cared for my grandmother, who had Alzheimers, for quite sometime, but there comes a point where there is not much else you can do.

She was finally put into a nursing home where she had worked for a long time before getting ill. She knew the people there and they knew her. She was under good care.

The only thing about nursing homes is that you have to visit them often and make sure things are up to standards. Not many are.

You did fine. At this point you need to take care of the baby the best you can.
