I totally agree.. these are the factors which remain out of control and few are able to gain this control without outside help...This is one of the most important lessons to be learned in this lifetime...Rather than learn the lesson, too many go for the magic pill that will cure them.. but, find it an illusion. I deal with these people daily..

Weird question. I wish you had a little more intelligence when it comes to grammar. I'm not sure what you're asking.
People have free will. So if you have the choice to do whatever you want and face whatever consequences you have coming, then it's up to you to act responsibly in spite of any emotions that might tend to lead you astray. You should ideally grow in intelligence and emotional health throughout your life. So why would God teach you what to do? It would ruin your free will if he controlled your emotions. Free will only works with good *and* evil--you have to have a choice in order to exercise the right to choose. Likewise, you also have a choice to let your emotions run wild and unchecked and ruin your life. Free will, baby! It can be a b***h, but it's up to us to run our own lives.

The problem with your question and supporting comment is that intelligence and religion appear to be mutually exclusive. Religious believers are not really recognised as being intelligent.
My studies and research shows that religious people are not exactly rocket scientists, they tend to be below average intelligence, and also have a tendency to be more violent than non-believers. In some cases, the more violent the person, the more religious they are. I suspect that the vast majority of religious people are well below average intelligence.
I wonder if trying to improve the intellectual standard of our global community would help remove the various religions from our culture, and thereby improve happiness and peace for humanity.

Yes both our mind and heart need to be a part of our religion. I submit to God my mind, heart [emotions] body and soul for the process of regeneration. The Bible says: "It does not yet appear what I shall be, but when I see Him, I shall be as He is." I submit my thoughts and emotions to God in prayer. I talk to Him about what I think and feel. Example: God I don't want to do ...... God I can't do....... God I am angry, afraid, frustrated. God I am sorry. I know it is wrong to be afraid of.......Fill me with Your love and faith and walk with me through this day. For me these kinds of prayers are life changing. God is showing me how to be motivated by love and faith - make right choices [mind] and live with passion [emotions] Have a blessed day. I hope you dance with God.
Lots of love,
Cathy out.

He does teach us. Read the bible. Shouldn't your parents teach you common sense? Oh, wait, look at so many people now, they have no common sense,,,, Learn to control yourself. Life can't be solved with instruction manuals.

What is "emotional intelligence?"
They seem to be two different functions and unrelated.
How do you measure "emotion?"
